Happy Birthday Colter!

Our little man turned one years old! 

(His actual birthday was while we were in Cancun- but he won't remember.. right? ha)

We just adore our Colter with his very chill personality and always just going with the flow- even when his sister is knocking him down and laying on top of him. He just always seems to smile and laugh it off. I'm constantly getting compliments on what a good baby he is and how no one has ever seen him in a bad mood or upset. Such a sweetheart, so thankful he's in our family to help lower the stress levels and keep it calm around our house!

 We just had a little get together to celebrate the day after we got back from Cancun and the day before we left for Oklahoma! Busy, busy time so it was fun to stop and celebrate with family.

 I'm also constantly getting comments about what a toe head blonde Colter is! So fun to be SO blonde!
(Maybe secretly I dyed my hair to match! ha jk)

 Opening his presents, not too interested- I don't think he was feeling his best (hence the binkie), but he did like watching how excited Kell kept getting!

 Singing 'Happy Birthday' and the classic letting him go at with his hands!

 First bite... not too impressed?

 "Why is everyone staring at me?"

 "Oh, here comes daddy.. maybe he'd like a taste"

 "Big bite daddy!"

 "haha, now that's fun!"

 "Daddy seemed to like it, maybe I'll give it another try"

 "Oh yeah! That was gooood!"

Can't believe my baby is already one! And is such a tank! Mckell and Colter can wear the same size clothing- it's crazy! and there is only about 3lb difference between them. Guess it's good he's the one on the chubbier side than the other way around! haha I love chubby babies! So cute.

Colter stands and walks around furniture, but not quite walking yet, though I'm sure it'll come in a few weeks. He says momma, dada, uh-oh, tank-ew (thank you), and no-no really clear and just babbles other gibberish 24/7! He loves having gibberish conversations with momma like we know exactly what each other is saying- it's my favorite! He loves to do the 'I take my little hands and go clap clap clap' song and clap really to ANY song. When Kell and I sing the ABC's or count he makes sounds right along with us as if he's singing the right words too- super cute! He likes waving hello and bye-bye and clapping. He gives a very enthusiastic high five and looks at me with a confused face when I do 'knucks' and try to get his chubby fist into a ball. We didn't realize he's a little shy when it comes to other people holding him. We've been away from family his entire life thus far so really he is just with mommy 24/7 so we need to get him use to being around other people! ha! He seriously has the best temperament and is always just so happy and content no matter what we're doing. We couldn't be more grateful for such a good baby and love every single pound of his solid body (already weighs about 23lbs!!!)
