little catchup update..

I know you probably don't care to know exactly how many weeks and days Mckell is in all the pictures, but I just want to know so when I go back to scrapbook I won't have to try to remember... anyway- lots of pictures!
3 weeks 4 days- holding her head up strong
3 weeks 6 days
3 weeks 6 days

4 weeks 2 days- I love this dress, it's my favorite of her outfitsCourtland thinks he can turn Mckell into a gamer... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
4 weeks 6 days- getting so big!
Trying so hard to crawl... or just push with her legs- I love her little bummie

5 weeks 1 day- out on a walk in the cold, the hat is still a bit too bigOut other baby Lucy- I think she's been feeling neglected and not the center of attention anymore
Happy birthday to me! I turned 24 (so old to me, I still feel like I'm 18) on October 22, 2009! Mckell 5 weeks 2 days
5 weeks 3 days
Sort of liking her bumbo, but learning to keep her head up!

Love cuddling with my baby girl, 5 weeks 4 days

Can't get enough of our baby girl!

Pretty in purple for her three week picture!

Snuggling with daddy

I like the bow, and no I don't think it's too big for her head...

umm... yes

So looking at the last post and the huge bow I have on Mckell's head I do realize it is a bit big for her currently. However, if you could see it on her in person, it really doesn't look nearly as bad (trying to defend my bow while laughing because it truly does look ridiculous). Anyway, in the future I will make sure her bows aren't bigger than her head- for Jake. haha Actually... no guarantees but your comments have been considered, lol.

More pictures of our new life and little family!

My friends came over to my parent's house to visit and meet Mckell
Rachael, Jodi, Ali, Me, Mckell, Cassi, & Brock
Mckell is not your typical baby- most babies love to be wrapped up tight, but the trick to getting Mckell to sleep (especially at night) has been not to wrap her up at all. She likes her arms up by her head and to be able to kick her legs.
Second tip that helped get Mckell sleeping at night- jammies! We started gettting Mckell on a routine- warm bath, jammies, then feeding with the lights out and off to bed... works like a charm.
We tried giving Mckell her first bottle for some daddy daughter bonding time- I think they both enjoyed it!
Mckell's cord finally fell off.
Starting Mckell early on praying... jk
We sure love our baby girl- she's too much fun and we can't get enough of her!

Graham Christian Rabe's baby blessing!

We were so lucky to have my brother Ben, Kendra, Sophie, and their new baby Graham come into town. Ben had interviews in Idaho, SLC, and Denver- he graduates in December so they decided to make a family trip out of it and bless their baby. Graham was born 6 1/2 weeks before Mckell. They blessed Graham last Sunday up at my parent's house. It was our first time out since Mckell was born.
All the men who participated in the blessing

Part of the Rabe Family... We wish Jake & Jill and their cute boys could have come- but Christmas will be here before you know it and we'll all be together again!

Graham 7 weeks 2 days old, Mckell 5 days old- do they really grow that fast!?

Sophie holding Mckell

Sophie sure knows how to cheese it!
