I finally did it... I chopped off all my hair! And I'm having mixed feelings...

This is the back of it, it's cut in an A line, so shorter in the back (kinda stacked) and longer in the front.

Still haven't figured out how to do it... This is a foreign thing to me, short hair- suggestions any of you short haired girls out there??

I had Weston cut Courtland's hair too and I think it's so dang cute! This is the first time I've ever seen Courtland's hair actually done. He normally just let's it air dry and he's ready to go. But i had Weston "style" it, flat iron, wax and all! I don't think Courtland likes it much, in fact I know he doesn't so tell him you like it and he should keep it up!

Half pulled back- and still figuring new ways to do it.

So last Saturday I finally got my hair cut and colored. I haven't gotten my hair done since before my wedding which was probably about 8 months ago- and in my world that's a life time considering I usually get it done every 3-4 months. But since I waited so long and my hair had grown out so much I decided to chop it and donate it to locks of love! I cut off a total of 13 inches! I have no hair! At least that's how I feel. This is the shortest I've EVER had my hair and now I'm lost cause I have no idea how to style it. My hair actually has volume now, something my long hair was majorly lacking. My biggest concern was not making my face look rounder because short hair on round faces just makes it look bigger. But I'm getting used to it, sort of... and it will grow back! Let me know what you think! And your honest opinion, not just your "yeah it looks way cute" but really you're thinking what the crap did you do! HAHA

You think you can change them.... but what they say is true!

Adam, Taylor, and Courtland playing halo for hours

Classic face! I caught Courtland playing after I had fallen asleep!

Pizza and video games... such a classic guy thing, us girls might never understand

When Courtland and I were dating I thought for sure once we were married he'd forget about halo and (grow up! :) haha) take up hobbies we like doing together. I never wanted to be one of those girls that thought they could just change their husband once they were married... but I thought video games? That's not trying to change him, just helping him learn there are more productive uses of his time.... Oh was I wrong! Yes, Courtland still LOVES to play halo and still has his friends come over to play with him too! What was I thinking, guys never change! Maybe one day.... haha far reaching I know!

My Birthday Cake!

So for my birthday (back forever ago, I know!) Courtland was so cute and made me a surprise birthday cake! And it actually tasted good! haha

Next stop... Wisconsin!!

My mom and I stopped next in Wisconsin to visit Jake, Jill, and Nolan for a couple days!
We went to breakfast and ate some really yummy food.
Is that not the cutest little guy you've ever seen?!  Cheesin it up!
We went to the famous fair in Wisconsin and had lots of fun eating yummy treats "on a stick."  We had cheesecake, fried oreos, smoores, pork chops, etc.
I think my favorite thing was the roasted corn!  So good!

Breaking Dawn came out while we were there and of course we had to get copies... my mom is beyond obsessed!  She read the entire drive home from Wisconsin to Utah!

My mom and I in DC!

My mom came out to Jersey and stayed with us a couple days.  Then we packed up my car and her and I took of on a journey back to Utah!  Our first stop was our nation's capital, DC.  It was a first for me so it was cool to see all the sites!

Date night at Boston's!

Have you ever eaten at Boston's Gourmet Pizza?  It is so yummy!  First we ordered these amazing BBQ wings- they were the best I've ever had!  And then it just got better- chicken alfredo pizza!  Mmmm!
We like it so much we went back 2 more times!

We added a member to our family! Although it was short lived..

While Courtland was out knocking one day, a lady said she didn't want an alarm system but did he want a kitten?  Of couse I did because I got so bored by myself sometimes all day, so he brought him home!  He was so much fun, very playful!  I wish we could have brought him back with us to Utah but we didn't have a way to get him home!  It costs like $200 to take him on the plane so we found a good home for him!  Miss you Jersey!  (that's what we named him)

We spent our summer in NEW JERSEY

This summer Courtland and I lived in Long Branch, New Jersey.  It was a lot of fun considering we lived right on the beach!  However I don't know why people rave so much about beaches.  Don't get me wrong, I loved going but if I were to choose, I'd rather live by a lake and go boating everyday!  Just my opinion!
One thing I didn't realize about doing summer sales with Apx is the hours Courtland had to work.  He worked Mon-Fri form 11am to 10pm and Saturday 9am to 10pm.  It was hard being newlyweds and all and never being able to see each other.  Hopefully all his hard work will pay off!  He had a great summer and was the top 1st year guy for our office.  I also worked at Chilli's as a server- my favorite job!  No joke, I seriously would waitress forever but hate the reputation that goes with it- fellow servers know what I'm talking about!
More photos to come of Jersey later... I forgot my camara charger so we really didn't take very many, sad!  I'll find some from other people who were there too!

Bed and Breakfast- our first!

Courtland and I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Nebraska on our drive out to New Jersey (back in May).

The place was very cute and was a lot of fun. Courtland researched and surprised me with it- such a cute husband!
